U mad, Akane?

Thanks for my pal ~stef-o-chan for the title suggestion it was actually gonna be "F*ck you, Akane!" but I thought that would be too harsh even if I really HATE Akane

Anyway, let's talk a bit about Ranma 1/2, shall we? And in the process, the reason of this pic will probably emerge

So, back in the 90s, Rumiko Takahashi, one of the most popular female manga artist/writers, came up with this idea about a boy who would transform into a gal whenever soaked with cold water, reverting back to a boy if warm water was used, crazy idea, no? Well, Ranma can be summed up as different genres, from fighting, to harem and transgender/transpecies series, it's quite an interesting mix, and Takahashi pulled it off nicely.

However, not everything is perfect, Takahashi has been known for her persistent one-sided characters, which, was probably the only thing I didn't like about Ranma, and when it comes to Akane, she's like a symbol to the one-sided generic tomboy girls who don't like cock, and that was pretty much why I hated her so.

The other characters were mostly one-sided as well, but at least they were fun, lol, it's ironic that Ranma is also one-sided despite his gender switching, I mean, it would have been cool if Ranma would get not only all the yummy parts of being a gurl, but also the amount of hormones required to have those "parts", and maybe with time, heck, started feeling something weird about his/her buddy/rival Ryoga, or maybe viceversa.

I know this is literally bordering yaoi, but I want you to think of Ranma-girl as an actual girl, the actual red-headed girl that drowned in yusenkio's spring where Ranma got his curse, so, I'm calling Ranma-girl as "Ranko" (as Ranma calls "her" self when hiding from his mom) from now on.

Now, about Ryoga, well, as you may know, he's a guy who's got this grudge against Ranma because he accidentally pushed him into the cursed spring of the pig, which in turn makes Ryoga transform into a piggy when soaked in cold water. However, we never knew much about the poor guy's background except he was a schoolmate of Ranma's in the past, we don't know if he has family nor anything, there was a bit of potential actually, of Ranma and Ryoga's relationship growing as friends, I know from time to time Ryoga would help Ranma train, but that was just about it, we never see them going out for a boy's night or anything.

And like that, maybe Ryoga would start getting other feelings as well whenever his buddy Ranma would turn into a girl, and we know that Ryogs HAS been tricked into Ranko's trap more than once, as the time when Mousse and him ambush Ranma and Ranko somehow ends up topless and Ryoga actually gets shy when he sees Ranko's bare breasts, also, Ranko more than once tricked Ryoga into making him believe he was another girl in love with him

So yeah, maybe further near the whole story's end, Ranma would find a way to split both his forms and Ranko could live happily ever after with Ryoga, and found their own martial arts school of Hibiki or something, since Ryoga didn't come from a specific training school nor anything.

So, what about Ranma male? Who do I think he'd be better off with? Well, as you may have guessed, certainly NOT Akane, lol, but not only because I hate her, but the Tendo dojo never really had much to offer, Akane is a weak fighter too. How about Ukyo? Well... no, and I do love Ukyo, and I know she's also a tomboy, but not as stubborn as Akane, and at least she LIKES boys (or something like that) since she dated Tsubasa, but no, I actually think Ukyo and Ranma are more like siblings since they knew each other since kids and Ranma always thought Ukyo was a guy.

So, I guess the only fiancee that leaves us for Ranma is Shampoo, and yes, I actually think this would be the best outcome for Ranma male to marry, 'cause Shampoo is a strong fighter and has quite a good martial arts bloodline, with Ranma's line of Happosai and Shampoo's from Cologne, their martial arts legacy would be quite legendary.

Heh, and I know there was also Kodachi, but she never was a legitimate fiancee, and I actually liked her more than Akane (despite her craziness), and while I don't know who is the best partner for her, it's really not hard to imagine her and Kuno resorting to incest!

Akane can become lesbian for all I care, heck, she can stay with Mousse, since he'll be left alone after Shamps goes with Ranma

So, anyway back to this pic and Ryoga and Ranko, still think they make a cute couple, and I actually got this idea from a hentai doujinshi, can't post direct links under DA's policies but its title is Osage no Ano Ko ni Mugamuchuu, where Ranko and Ryoga actually get it off, ah, but that doujinshi is only available in Chinese and Korean, so, if anyone finds it in English for me, I'll... okay, I'll make you a free request of your favorite Ranma couple (as long as it doesn't feature Akane! ), they can even be doing nasty stuff! as long as it sticks to DA policies, basically, no complete nudes (since they're underage), no visual sex, and so on.
